The Janson family has owned the land for over one hundred years but just recently started cultivating it for coffee. La Torcaza sits on the Pacific Ocean side of the country and has a perfect climate for growing coffee beans.

The coffee I received is a light, delicate coffee that is not bitter and doesn’t leave a heavy after taste. There are more ecxotic flavors, but what I received was a light roasted coffee that would be good for daily use.

Today is first day I tried it. Great taste and nice full body for a medium roast. No bitterness!

I received my Panama beans last week and make a cup of coffee right away. To my surprise, it was a very well rounded roasted bean with plenty of flavor and aroma. Thanks for letting me try this wonderful coffee.

A very smooth and sophisticated cup of coffee is the best I can describe it. Definitely one to add to my collection.
