    Earl Grey Tea

I’ve been buying coffee from Henry’s for quite a while and figured I’d buy the tea for my wife. I don’t think she drinks her tea particularly strong but she followed the instructions and ended up with what she considered a weak cup of tea. She prepared a second mug and increased the amount of tea she used. The result was a better tea but the bergamot added an overpowering perfumey flavor.

Strong bergamot- just how I like it! Just ordered some, and I’ll review it later.

this is the base for the taste of Earl Grey, all other brands pale compared to Henry’s

  5. Great balance & delicacy!

I love this Earl Grey blend for its gentle, perfect aroma of bergamot. Such a sensuous experience!! I’m a huge fan of Earl Grey, so I’ve had just about every commercial blend there is and many “boutique” blends. This is my favorite among those.

Months ago, I read another review by someone who didn’t like this blend because they felt it was weak. I completely disagree: subtle is not the same thing as weak. I’m guessing they’d like to be hit over the head with bergamot, and every now and then, so do I. For that customer, I’m thinking they may like Stash’s double bergamot earl grey. It’s not as refined as this, and it packs a bergamot punch.

I’d be proud to give this as a gift and also to share this with any serious tea drinker. I think I will – unless I drink it all first… 🙂

  6. Delightful

First couple sips: bergamot oil slightly overwhelmed
Rest of the cup: seamless blend of tea leaves and bergamot oil
A smooth, flavorful, and refreshing Earl Grey.
