Naturellement sans caféine

Le Rooibos est indigène et ne pousse qu'à Cederberg, en Afrique du Sud, juste au nord du Cap, dans l'écorégion de Fynbos, où se trouve une incroyable diversité de vie végétale. Le buisson de rooibos a de longues branches couvertes de longues feuilles douces en forme d’aiguilles. Une fois par an, les branches sont récoltées, coupées, laissées s'oxyder pour prendre une couleur rouge brique foncé, puis étalées sur des lits de séchage pour être séchées au soleil. Le Rooibos est naturellement sans caféine et possède une teneur élevée en minéraux. Son profil aromatique quelque peu neutre en fait une excellente base pour aromatiser ou mélanger avec d’autres ingrédients. Ici, une légère saveur de mandarine a été ajoutée aux feuilles.
